Results are based on actual EPC data where available but do not constitute a new EPC assessment or official EPC certificate. Where an official EPC assessment is required, this can be arranged through Make My Home Energy Efficient.
Use the website as a starting point for understanding possible next steps. Important property, compliance or investment decisions should be checked with an appropriate professional.
Official Energy Performance Certificate assessments
Website tools and reports do not replace an official Energy Performance Certificate assessment.
Official Energy Performance Certificate ratings and certificates must be produced through the appropriate accredited assessment process. Where an official assessment is required, it can be arranged through Make My Home Energy Efficient.
Return On Investment estimates
ROI estimates are for guidance only. Actual savings depend on property condition, usage, energy prices, installation quality and future energy use.
Return estimates should be treated as indicative planning information, not a promise of savings or a recommendation to proceed with a particular purchase.
Exemption guidance
Exemption guidance is advisory only and is not exemption approval. A professional exemption evidence review should only be considered after applicable measures have been installed, evidence has been collected, a post-improvement Energy Performance Certificate reassessment has been completed, and the property remains below the required standard.
Exemption evidence support is about organising and reviewing evidence. It does not guarantee any declaration, approval or outcome.

Public Energy Performance Certificate Register data is used where available.
